Who We are?

 

Compañía Distribuidora is dedicated to the distribution of large consumption products in Honduras and it is located in the capital city, Tegucigalpa. CODIS, as many employees and customers call it (short for Compañia Distribuidora), is responsible for delivering its products throughout the south-central part of the country.

CODIS initially began allocating six international brands in 1956, now a days, it has 400 employees, more than 60 years of experience in the distribution and marketing of 50 brands that sell in supermarkets, convenient stores, pharmacies, wholesalers, restaurants, bars and mom & pop shops (also known as pulperias).

1956 - 1960

Compañía Distribuidora began in 1956 and Surtidora Internacional in 1960 distributing International brands such as Ceteco, Kern´s, Ana Belly and Clover Brand.

2001

Surtidora International expands warehouses up to 15,000m2

2003 - 2005

Quaker Brand
rewards Surtidora International and Compañía Distribuidora for 3 consecutive years for "Best Distribution Channel in Honduras".

2009

Both companies started working with SMEs enterprises of Honduras.

2011

Both companies won the Procter & Gamble Distribution

2012

Compañia Distribuidora expands warehouses. Proctor & Gamble rewards both companies for "Best Coverage and Distribution Award"

2015

Bayer Distribution

2015

Both companies won the SABA Brand Exclusive Distribution

2016

Both companies become the exclusive distributor of the famous brand bleach "Magia Blanca"

2017

Walmart Rewards both companies for "Excellence in Distribution"
